Super Bowl Posters

ROLE

DIRECTION

ILLUSTRATION

Always a football fan, even if my poor Jets haven’t sniffed the playoffs in years, I decided to build a graphic in the lead up to Super Bowl LIV. These images were inspired by the art deco movement in Miami and vintage postcards across the U.S. Dribbble reposted these graphics and headlined them on their blog. It resulted in over 11,000 views on their website.

As the years went on, I turned this into an annual project. Every year, I tried to incorporate a vintage feel based on the venue and the teams. I was expecting a lot of variation every year, but it turns out this has just become an exploration into Kansas City Chiefs brand.
